Sony Reader Battery Life

Hello,
I'm new to the reader (~4 days) but my device has already lost one of the little bars in the battery panel (can't have read more than 1000 pages, I have looked at a few pictures on it (~20). I thought it might be useful to see what other users are experiencing with the battery monitor. I wouldn't be surprised if the little bars do not perfectly reflect the charge, but if they do perhaps I should be a bit concerned?
