Two pocket questions
Hello fellow eBook readers,
For a long time I have been in doubt between beBook Neo and PocketBook 302. Both are great pieces of hardware, but each one with a major problem (for me): beBook has a short battery life; PocketBook a bright screen. My dilemma is to preview with which fault I could live better with. Regarding to bebook, I think there is nothing one can do. But about PocketBook I have a few questions: - pocketbook.reader-ebook.org is shipping 302 with a matte screen cover, but to the US market. In Europe there is www.pocketgoods.de but with no matte cover and www.greenreader.co.uk also with no matte cover and the incompatible PSU. So, anyone knows if there is any other online store that ships the 302 with matte screen to Europe? -I could also wait for the new models from PocketBook, especially the 603, that solves my problem, but anyone knows when it will arrive at the stores? I am pretty sure that PocketBook dealers in Europe also have matte screen covers available.

Both stores do ship with anti-reflex foil as far as I know. Not only that, but early adopters of 302 would have a free display change and an extended warranty.

I bought a protective cover from http://www.schutzfolien24.de/. It works well and I got it pretty quickly. I'd imagine you'd get it even faster in Europe.

I sent a message to the pocketgoods store, to confirm me if the 302 is coming with the matte screen. As in their site, there is no mention of it, hence my doubt. Best Regards, Luis.Dias |

PocketBook 302 FTW!

I was worried about glare when I ordered my 302 in April. I got a device with the full on glassy screen, no overlay. After using it extensively, I don't feel like I miss it.
My other extensive experience has been with the PRS-600, and I prefer the crispness of the glassy screen on the 302 over the very slight blurriness of the nonglare treated 600. To each their own
