Up-to-date candy teacher (date being 1921)
I have found this little gem through BoingBoing.net
An up-to-date candy teacher, featuring recipes, manufacturing, and cutting edge technology for candy, ice-cream, chewing gum ... Besides being a great textbook in candymaking it is also a beautiful example of 1921 typography. Do not panic when you download pdf and it will appear empty. The actual text begins at page 8.
