Great Find

Went into Best Buy with the intent of looking at getting a new reader and happened upon a brand new PRS-505. I asked how much it cost and was told $299.99. When I informed them it was a discontinued model, they did some checking and came back and said they could offer it too me for $129.99. Needless to say, I purchased it. Ever since I sold my 505 to BeTePok, I've not been satisfied with any of the new readers. I feel like I have an old friend back.

This looks like a good buy: new PRS-600 with cover and light for 209.95. Wish I saw it earlier

505 looks great, and you got a great deal. I like my 600 enough, though. ^^

Congratulations on a great deal! I'm a little jealous of your find. When I couldn't find a 505, I tried the Sony 300 for a while. It was almost what I wanted.

An excellent purchase, the 505 is the mother of all ebook readers

Congrats on the "New Shiny!!" Remember to keep it from obese cats, or any set of two or more cats of normal(ish) weight which cats get into a game of chase-and-wrestle, or other, less specific hazards.
Also, good for you for knowing your product before purchasing.

Oh, boy, what a deal!!! It's a shame they discontinued 505. I have a 300, everything is so good but I just want the screen a little bit larger and searched and searched and cannot find 505 anywhere. Congratulations.
