glare comparison: Irex vs Sony

I am very near to buying a IREX DR800, to be able to read easily all the PDFs I own.
I am used to my marvelous Sony 505, and I'm a bit worried about the screen glare, since the attempts by Sony to produce a touch-sensitive screen have been met by disappointment.
I heard people say that the DR800's glare is very low, but there is somebody here who owns both (DR800 and 505), able to tell me how do they compare?
For me it's critical, I use the 505 outdoors a lot...

thank you!

iRex touchscreens are of a completely different type. My DR1000s doesn't glare anymore than my regular ol' Kindle.

For me the DR 800's screen is better than my Sony 505's screen in every way. Unlike the Sony 600, 700, and 900 the touch screen layer is underneath the reading screen and doesn't affect it at all. Which is also the reason why only the special Wacom pens work on the Irex and anything works on the Sony's.
