I have a real pb with epub in Greek... they are very well transcripted in Sigil or Calibre, and on my Firefox epub extension, but all the accentuated letters are replaced with ??? in my Cybook Opus (or in ADE either).
I tried to follow the instructions on this thread https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61587 but I work on a Mac, and I don't know what program use to modify the manifest.... Strangely, in ADE, the letters are wrong in the text window (????) but display right in the TOC ![]() The file is well coded in UTF-8 and Verdana, Georgia and Lucida Grande (my favorite Unicode font) should all correctly display them.... but they don't. I also must add that I downloaded the "Unicode_font_display" proposed by troymc in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...93&postcount=5.... It reads very well in my Firefox/epub reader, but NOT in ADE and in Opus... so.... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You need a program to un-zip files, and a text editor. What font is used ? |

Have you tried using a custom font in the Opus? Copy the TTF or OTF file to the Fonts folder, and then select the font in the menu when reading the book.

Maybe the book is using an embedded font instead of the user-selected one? Can you attach a file with this problem?
