how to get Kindle UK books on US device?

Hi,

I am frustrated because books by one of my favorite authors are available for Kindle in UK but not US, and the Amazon store won't let me buy them b/c I have a US device.

eg

http://www.amazon.com/Caravan-to-Vac.../dp/B002RI9PXG

Does anyone know a workaround?

I, too, would like a work-around for this -- I would love to have the earlier Robert Ludum books, but they are only available in the UK -- I cannot fathom why this is so as he was an AMERICAN author.. Is this more of our illustrious Agency-Model Publishers antics?

There is not a way unfortunately. Well you could get a UK credit/debit card registered to a UK address. Just console yourself with the fact that there is much more books that are available in the US and not in the UK than there is in the UK and not the US.

Please tell the author and publisher that you would like to buy that book (and that they should end those stupid limitations).

Can't you just change the location on your Manage your Kindle page?
