PRS-600 Menu in Spanish

Does anybody know how to change the menu settings into Spanish? Spanish is not one of the options that the PRS-600 offer. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you.

If it works the same way as the PRS-505, then you just need to download the latest firmware from sony spanish site, open it and increment the number of the firmware by one and then install it

. Don't rely on my answer though, wait to see if someone else which actually has a 600 can answer rather.

It is in ebookupdater/assets/updaterAssets/PrsVersion.dat from the download.

Bienvenido a MR, Miguelfer. Have you checked the Spanish 505 site for the firmware? http://www.lectoreselectronicos.com/forum.php tiene un montón de información ( de la 505), también una página con firmwares.

I have tried the software for the PRS-505 and it does not work. I guess that the one for this model needs to be different.

You have the Sony 600, yes? Do you already have the firmware 1.0.01.08040?

Thanks a lot!! This is what I was looking for. I followed the instructions in that thread, and now it is working. I already have the menu in Spanish.
