I recommend you spend a few weeks researching here. There are so many devices, and so many threads here about each!

Keep in mind that no device is perfect for everybody. For example, devices which are best for reading in bed at night are different from those best for reading outdoors in the sun.

Prices are sure to come down, and the devices are sure to get better, so I recommend you not spend the big bucks now. But that's a decision everyone must make for himself.
