Classic B&N stores finally carrying accessories?

I noticed yesterday some very large, in-your-face Nook displays going up in my local B&N stores right at the entrance. Talked to one of the employees and they are finally going to start carrying accessories in store. I thought it was pretty sad that I could go to Best Buy to get accessories, but couldn't find any at B&N for their own device. They have no idea when the stock is coming in though. One store said "soon" the other said sometime in the next 2-3 weeks. It will be a surprise to them when they show up. Anyone else see these stocked yet?

I bought my nook accessories 2 weeks ago at the B&N brick and mortar store. Well, accessory, I bought a cover.

This was in Woodinville, WA, so at least some stores have stock already and are selling it.

Every B&N store near me had a fairly extensive array of accessories since I bought my nook a few months back. Of course, I live in NYC and almost every B&N store here is about the size of a city block. Bought my nook at 14th st and my Industriell cover at the Financial District store. This was about 3 months ago.

All the stores in NE Ohio that I had been to up until yesterday, you had to hunt around to even find the Nook! Accessories, not even close. Not a USB cable, battery, cover, nothing.

My local B&N has had accessories since December (along with a giant Nook display at the front of the store), and it's not exactly a big store. I bought my cover there while I was still waiting for my Nook to arrive. I wonder what determines which stores have accessories and which don't.

Nothing yet in the two stores around me. I received a cover for my b-day, but it wasn't one I wanted. I hoped to exchange it, but had to return it in store, get a gift card, then order it online. I was able to pick up a light at my local Best Buy and they had a selection of M-Edge covers.

Our B&N Store in Beaverton/Hillsboro, OR has had an "in your face Nook display" for at least a week, with at least one well informed employee manning it and a large selection of accessories being displayed.

My Barnes & Noble (San Francisco - Fisherman's Wharf) still doesn't carry the Nook Accessories. I was told that the accessories are being shipped to the stores based on the store's Sales volume.

Mine did too. Palm Bach Gardens, soon as you walk in, there's a huge nook display with a staffer there. It was about four or five months ago i think now.
