News Email Failure

Hi folks. Since about 6.47 I have been getting the following error when News feeds download. It occurs twice for every feed and while irritating does not impede the download. The error reads:

"ERROR: Failed to email books: Failed to email the following books:

I did not change anything and then even reset the News Feeds and still does it. I did not ask for any email. It would seem to have an answer at the bottom but can't get any result to show. Can anyone help?

goto preferences->email and remove the automatic email address.

Thanks. Was this just recently added or am I just missing something. It also explains to me why there were two errors per News feed---Duh, two auto emails!

A bug was fixed. The bug prevented errors during email sending from being displayed.

Getting, I think, the same error as above, but I am TRYING to send the email. This is from an XP laptop, but the same info works when run from my Windows 7 desktop. The email info has been cut/paste from the Windows 7 machine but still fails. Both use version 6.51.

I did this earlier to no avail. Perhaps it has something to do with the firewall or proxy on the laptop. I guess I won't worry about it, as the exact same info works from my desktop Win7 machine.
