Opus Do the colored Opuses have the same hardware as the white one?

Hello everybody,
I will soon purchase my first e-reader and I'm quite positive it will be an Opus. I managed to try it out briefly in a store and I was convinced that it's perfect for my needs.
Some European online stores report some new Opus units that come with colored cases, with a May 7th release date. Does anybody know if they only differ in the case itself, or if the internals are somewhat different too, similarly to the Gen3 v3 and Gen3 Gold?
The price tag is similar (199 vs. 200 euros), but considering that the Gen3 Gold had the same price as the version it replaced, I'm wondering.

They are practicaly the same beast. There are some minors changes, most are software (that will be ported on the "classic" white opus) and a slight better autonomy, and a reworked accelerometer.

Do like you want, but if you really want it just now and can't wait, you will not loose any special thing by buying a white current one

You nailed it! I'd really like it right now. :P I don't think I'd use the accelerometer anyway, but what are the minor hardware changes (aside from the accelerometer and the better battery) that are in the new models?
I do like the black one, though. I think that it makes the screen appear bigger.

I didn't think I was going to use the accelerometer either, but I've found that it's useful when you're at public transport (usually I keep hold myself with right hand, and I can rotate it so I change the page with left hand).

Hmm well, one can still rotate the text manually using a menu, right?

I don't know, I activate the accelerometer, rotate the screen and at the end I deactivate the accelerometer

Jollino : no, there is no menu to turn the text manually.

New hardware is : better battery (1050 mAh, I have been told), new accelerometer chip, and new RAM (still 1 Go, but new chips).

I have also been told that the new firmware of the Opus color will be available for the White.

Thank you. I am kind of reconsidering the colored ones: I've seen a video from CES 2010 and the new ones have much glossier shells... and I'm not sure how good that is when reading. Perhaps I should just go for a white one.

Any info about this new firmware? Does it have any bugfix relevant to the Gen3 (and will it work there)?
