Searching text on 300 and 505
Is it possible to search for a specific string of text on the 300 or the 505?

I do not think it is possible to perform a search using either device. Neither one has a hard or soft keyboard.

Oh, it's possible it just isn't automated. You have to attack the search, for the string of text, one eye at a time. A very time consuming process.

It might be possible one way or another. API is there, I haven't had time to check if it works though (doesn't make much sense before virtual keyboard is implemented)

Thanks for the replies. I suppose it would be kind-of clumsy without a real/virtual keyboard, but I think that text search should be one of the primary features on all ebook readers... hmmm....

Most eBook readers do have a search capability.
