exactly. it is a rebrand or copy of the Gajah unit seen in that link above. Really annoying- i have been waiting for months for samples from them including this one. The hard ware is nice but i have not seen the software in action.

everyone is late getting things out the door.

It's sold in Europe as Jerrybook by Mediacom in Italy and as Energy Book 1061 by Energy Sistem in Spain. Not an impressive ereader, I fear.

I thought it looked familiar. I saw one in FNAC in Barcelona a few months ago.
Build quality was pretty poor for the price.

You can find it rebranded in spain as "energy sistem 1060/1061" and also as "prixton codex 100".

I bought a prixton codex 100 (189€). I guess it is not a bargain, but in spain it is not easy to get good prices in technology items.

The ebook works quite well though. It reads most of the formats used and it is very light and comfortable to use. I am rather happy with having bought it.

Does anyone know if there is a firmware update? Is oaxis the original maker?
