Reading ePub without iBooks?
It seems that when the iPad arrives in the UK, it will be minus the iBooks application.
GoodReader looks like it is the recommended app for PDF reading, but what would users suggest for ePub books (non-DRM), if iBooks is not available? |

All the iPads are missing the iBooks app. It must be downloaded using iTunes but it is free.

The only downside to doing this is in order to install any app updates, you have to be signed into the account (within itunes) that downloaded the app. |

I've just tested readMe. Nice, but has some limitations. One major limitation: it does not support hyperlinks. I'm reading a book with many notes. Jumping to the notes section and rejumping afterwards is not possible. You have to go to the TOC, then to the notes, then back ...
In IbisReader or Stanza notes work as they should. |

Stanza is too flawed to be of use.
