Best Buy now carrying nook!
Just got an email from Best Buy stating they will be carrying the nook. Following the link they sent shows they are carrying the M-Edge cases as well!

Good news overall, I think.

According to Best Buy's website, they have the nook in stock at 3 of the 6 nooks closest to me, one is across the street from a B&N, and another is in the same mall as B&N. Personally, I would have stocked it first at the Best Buys that did not have a B&N so close to them. Maybe they did, and they've already sold them.

I was in a Best Buy two days ago and they had about 10 Nooks available. They also had a few M-Edge cases and slots for more that, I'm assuming, were not in stock yet. The display was not an endcap (that was taken up by Sony) and there was not a display model. Looks like they had just recently put the stock on a shelf with no real thought yet.

And more. It's now a great one-stop shopping site for the above readers as well as the Sony line and the new Irex DR800SG. Believe it or not, BB stores (yes, retail stores) also sell Kindle covers. Who would have thought that was possible a few months ago? E-readers are chic, must-have electronic devices. At least someone is paying attention to this trend at the big retailers. Next stop, Costco, Kmart and Sears.
