As to the lightning: One of the images linked to on the other thread here, wait, yes this one really looks to me like some giant alien life form. The pattern of lightning seems just very similar to the pattern of blood vessels. Eerie. |

In--credible. And yeah, I forgot about the electrical activity in volcanic plumes... (otherwise, I would've added that to Verdant Skies. Hmm... maybe I can squeeze it into the sequel, if I ever write it...)
It's one thing to hear about events like this... but seeing even photos gives so much more scale to it... not to mention those (un)lucky enough to see it in person. |
