Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

I wanted to say, I had an odd problem - my Nook froze 'On'. I wasn't able to do anything with it from the instructions in the manual so I called B&N, and the lady on the phone was very helpful, and had me take the back off, remove the battery, plug it into the wall charger, and turn it off. I was then to 'charge' it without the battery for 15 minutes, replace the battery, then charge it for 4 hours with the battery (not overnight, she was sure to tell me). I've had no more trouble with it, but she did say she made a note of my problem (she took down the battery serial #), and said if I continued to have trouble, to bring it to the store and they'd take care of me. I was quite happy to get such competent and immediate customer service.

That's customer service worthy of the term, Dolly. And, sadly, rare. Funny how often problems reported here are solved by proper charging. I've never had a problem with my Sony since I got myself a mains charger and many members with different devices find the same. Good luck from here in. Neil
