Hi I am Amoody I am in Dubai - UAE.
I have had a Kindle DX for the last 2 weeks approximately. I am now a happy more avid reader than before. I like my Kindle DX because the screen is BIG & the e-ink technology is so awesome than sometimes I mistake the Kindle for a book & try to flip pages from the right corner! .

I have some books in PDF formats & some in .chm formats, I can read the pdf formats in my kindle but I cannot zoom on the Text or diagrams & I do not like to hold the ebook in Landscape mode ; is there any way or an update to my kindle that I can achieve that? Why can't I see the bookmarks available in my PDF's in the Kindle DX?

How do I convert my .chm ebooks to a format like .mobi whie keeping all links intact?

Anyway this forum is so HUGE & has alot of expert in this field! I feel somehow lost especially when I open a thread & find a lot of coding that I do not understand, I feel soo much behind the line. I need to catchup what will you advice???

yes, the beauty of e-ink is that it can be visible even outdoors unlike other technologies like LCD..etc

Good to have your company, Amoody. Have you tried converting to your needs through Calibre Library software? It's a free download and was developed by a member here. In my opinion and that of many other members, it's the tops. Best wishes. Neil
