Wann kommt der WebKit basierte Browser raus, und für welche Geräte?

Ich wäre natürlich an ein Update für PB 360 interessiert ;-)

Es kommt natürlich für 302, ist aber möchlich, das er in die Firmware von 360&301 kommt, um html zu öffnen.

In April werden die ersten Beta veröffentlichen, volltändige integration ist bis Ende Mai-Anfang Juni geplant.

Mein PB 302 ist heute angekommen und es ist bereits im Besitz eines Browser, war aber auch neuste Charge.

Es ist nur Minibrowser, auf Fbreader basis, Webkit ist noch nicht dabei.

FBReader schluckt konsequent fast alle Formatierungen in html, Webkit ist ein vollständiger Browser

Dann müsste Safari, Chrome und diverse andere Browser auch ungeeignet sein, die basieren auf Webkit.

Ich meine den zur Zeit mitgelieferten Browser. Schon mal versucht komplexere Seiten zu öffnen die nicht nur aus HTML bestehen?

Der installierte Minibrowser wurde nur auf Drängen von Fork mit dem 302 ausgeliefert, eben um die Funktionialität (wenn auch eingeschränkt) zur Verfügung zu stellen. Quasi als ein Vorgeschmack. Ausserdem ist durch diesen der Booklandservice realisiert worden.
Deshalb auf den WebkitBrowser warten (der Minibrowser zählt nicht dazu) um ein wirkliches "Surfvergnügen" auf einem eInk Display zu erleben.
