Recent surge of US only books at Sony
I've noticed that many books have suddenly become "US only". I keep about 80 books in my wishlist and now I can't buy half of them. These are books that used to be available to me (in Canada) a couple of weeks ago.

Anyone know a good alternative store to purchase epub ebooks?

Why not set your Sony account to US and still purchase the "US only" titles?
Best alternative may be BooksOnBoard though.

Try Kobobooks.com I've found many books there that are US only in Sony. Not all, but quite a few.

The Sony Reader Store is also available to Canadians. eBook's that are geographically restricted to 'US only' are marked as such and not available for purchase.

There are several eBooks that I would buy from Sony today if they *were* made available. There does *seem* to be a lot more 'US only' titles lately.

But you easily (as simple as with Kindle, for example) can use the Sony US store, I permanently do so.

After searching for books at Sony's Reader Store I discovered that some books are now duplicated for Canada and US. Those that I thought were not available anymore are still there. I had the US only version in my wishlist.
