MID-560 4.8 Android MID - Available... Now (warning - big picture)

For those of us waiting for the W1060/A81 developers to release Android firmware, it looks like what I predicted could happen - that other manufacturers would beat them to the market - is coming true.

Those of you familiar with Android know that FBReader, Aldiko and other eBook reading applications are available. Amazon is going to release Kindle for Tablets (not just the iPad!) soon as well.

At the start is a Android-based MID that is actually available now, and I've seen it for sale on eBay for less than $200. Keep in mind the Archos 5IT has been out for a while, is a bit more expensive and a little more locked down (unless you hack the firmware). Nothing special looking, although there are buttons on the device you will see if you watch the video. I know very little about this device, but here is all the information I could find:
