drm status?
Maybe I should read the faq's before posting this. Feel free to point me at the answer there if it exists.

I was talking to a friend today and he asked me if I was still happy with my Sony. I am. On the other hand, it will break someday. As I talked I started wondering about the status of books I have "bought" from Sony. Now that they have switched to epub as the format of choice, they appear to be using Adobe DE for their DRM. Does this mean I could buy a different device, supported by Adobe, and read all my Sony books on it?

Yes,you can. I have several free Sony ePub books I have downloaded, and was able to put them on my Astak EZReader and my nook.

All Sony ePubs are readable on any device with mobile Adobe Digital Editions, i.e. on almost all dedicated reading devices with the notable exception of the Kindles.
