Used PRS-600

I'm looking at picking up a used PRS-600 for $180. It is apparently brand new, but I was wondering if there were any common issues with this model that I haven't come across while reading threads about this reader.

Thanks for the help! I've learned a lot already.

I guess that if you've read through the forum, you know most of the important pros and cons.
I don't want to sound sceptical, but $180 for a brandnew 600 sounds almost too good to be true. But if you're sure that the seller is ok, go for it.

It is a craigslist seller, so I will be meeting in person and checking the reader out prior to purchasing. I actually found two at this price, which is surprising to me considering the price they go for used on here and eBay.

Thanks!

If the screen fading in sunlight is an issue for you (and it may not be for everybody), make sure you check that out to see if that particular unit is affected.

Yep, certainly make sure to properly check the reader before buying. If it's really new with that price and it works well, go for it.
