Calibre doesn't see my kindle
All of a sudden Calibre doesn't see my kindle... The kindle is plugged in as usual.. What could be wrong..

I did reboot my computer, and since the kindle stopped working earlier today, that got booted as well...

I'll reboot them both again...

I've now rebooted both machines, and Calibre still can't see my kindle... I don't understand it... I don't use Calibre much, because I try and download in the mobi format, but I've never had a problem with it since I got my kindle.

Yes, I can transfer files to the kindle that way..

Might be the only solution... Calibre works with the conversion, then I save them to disk and drag them over to the kindle. Well... that way I should be able to save them directly to the kindle, avoiding the one step... duh...

Just because you have the same A/V program, does not imply that the engine did not get a recent update and is now causing issues.

Try forcing an A/V update (usually on the A/V control panel), they may have a fix already.
