New member -- reading books on itouch

Hi, I'm new to this forum -- actually to any forum. I just purchased an itouch -- to read books -- don't want a kindle -- to large. I have a great deal of books on my old IPAQ (that doesn't work very well) that are in mobipocket -- how can I convert them to read on the itouch? Thanks for all of your assistance.

Hi Rich and welcome to MobileRead. I used to read on an iPaq and liked it fine till I got my hands on a Sony 505 which is a great improvement. Better battery life and no light shining in your eyes.

Anyway, there is free software here on MobileRead known as Calibre which you can use to convert from one format to another.

Thanks for the information. I will look at calibre -- it is just that I have approx 100 books in mobipocket format and I don't want to have to start over. Thanks again.
