Economics books
I know, I know, my reader may not be the best suited for economics books anyways... but I can't find anything to read on the topic, even to see how well or badly I can!!
I mean, it seems that Adam Smith, Ricardo, Say, Malthus, Marx and the rest of old economists are quite disappeared... or published in unusable e-editions. I don't pretend to read modern manuals in my MM, but I'd sure like to have a feel of the discursive economics which I favor. And sadly, I seem to be findind nothing from them, save for some Marx files. Is there any site which lodges this kind of books? |

Go to the Ludwig Von Mises institute. www.mises.org There you will find many excellent books.
You can purchase physical copies and a lot of the time you can download an electronic copy free of charge. Most of these are in PDF format. Another location is the Online Library of Liberty. http://oll.libertyfund.org/ You can peruse their catalog and download files you are interested in and if you like you can order a DVD with 900 odd book contained in it, there are the Complete Works of Adam Smith for example. I hope this helps. |

Thanks a lot. I'd rather have them in ePub or fb2 which are friendlier to my PB (I've seen some of Mises.org's works in that format, but the site is hellish to navigate), but it is indeed helpful. I'll come back and tell my experience.

The Mises Institute is selling Human Action in hardback for $20.00. An incredible price. I paid $80.00 for mine 18 months ago.

I'm reading it in the PDF supplied by the Liberty Fund ^^
Truth be told, I usually abhor reading PDF in my reader, but these ones look very fine and are decently edited (save for the bothering end-of-page mark pointing out at the Fund). |
