Unexpected encounter with an e-reader

So there I was, returning the documentation and the keys to the driver of an articulated vehicle. Now, without generalising too much, it would be fair to say that the average HGV driver's preferred reading material is one of the red-tops (? equivalent to National Enquirer?). So I bang on the door, apologise for waking him up, and he says "You didn't, I was just reading Nicholas Nickleby" and waves his Sony prs300. Cue discussion about relative merits of different models, swapping of web site addresses for downloads etc., etc.

Any other unlikely/unexpected encounters to be reported?

Cool. You just never know!

Yesterday in the grocery store, I noticed a woman carrying a Sony prs - she had her shopping list on it.

I believe they are the equivalent of an American semi-trailer truck - the cab is articulated (joined to) the trailer.

My friend makes fun of me for putting my shopping list on my iPod Touch.

I pointed out that I have a tendency to set paper shopping lists down and forget about them, but I'm far more attentive to the location of my iPod.
