Dealing with French accents in the OPF file
Hello
I'm having trouble validating my ePub due to French accents in the dc:subject elements, generating errors like: The entity "Eacute" was referenced, but not declared. I broadly understand that I need to "declare" these character entities in the XML, but I can't find anything online that specifically explains (in basic terms!) how best to do this for an OPF file. Can anybody help? Thanks very much! Michael |

Do not use entities, but write the characters themselves (É instead of É) and store the file with utf8 encoding.
