I'm just across the Potomac from DC in Northern Virginia and we are buried. Have also had 15 hours of power outage. Fortunately I had my eBook reader at hand!

In fact, yesterday's 12 inch storm set the record for the worst winter in history in the area. Most offices, including the Government, have been shut down all week. And the weather forecast is calling for more next Monday. If I have concluded one thing from all bad weather it is this:

SNOW IS PLUTONIUM!

We got 15 inches here. Our office is closed for a second day (which I found out after I shoveled the darn driveway last night). The sun is out, but it's windy which is creating snow drifts.

Depends on where you are in Georgia (the state, not the country) today, you might get some snow. Normally I complain because it snows just north of my location, but today I think places south of me will get snow.

We have a couple of feet on the ground here, which is about average. From what I've heard though we all should be have it trucked up to Vancouver or we'll be watching water skiing next week not downhill.
