How do you remove a series and series #
I've entered in error a few series entries.
Alas, I can replace them only with a " ", but not get rid of them or the #. How do I fix it? |

Right-click, "edit metadata information", "edit metadata individually"

Try the following:
right-click on each item and select Edit Metadata From here you should be able to delete the series and the series number. I know I've done this before. You may even be able to select more than one file and edit in bulk but I'm not entirely sure. |

In Edit Meta data
Highlight the Series name. Press the delete key Save Don't worry about the series number. It gets suppressed/deleted because series is blank |

I ran into this on a few occasions. I had to enter a fake series, set the number to 1, then remove the series to get things to sort right. |

Calibre Windows, the series is blank in the library view, where it counts ![]() Just tested on Ubuntu Karmic, Calibre 6.13. Deleting the series name and the library shows nothing in the series column. |
