Is anyone having trouble with Fictionwise?
I'd like to buy the Sue Grafton ebooks, but every time I try to navigate beyond the Fictionwise home page I'm blocked. Is anyone else having trouble?

Nate, I've just bought an ebook from them Day 94 by D.M. Slate without any problems and looks like rebates are back.

I bought Stephen King's Rose Madder in secure ePub last week but every time I try to download it I just get this message:

"The requested eBook title is currently not available for download at this time. This most often occurs when the title has not been released by the publisher for general distribution. Please try again later."

I sent in a trouble request but I haven't heard anything yet. Maybe it's just a fluke. This is the first time I've tried to buy a secure ePub at Fictionwise. I noticed there are a lot of secure ePub books listed now but are they real? I've always liked Fictionwise and I hope to be able to shop there.

I had the same problem with 2 other books - Desperation and Needful Things. It seems to be a problem with epub, Penguin and Fictionwise. They kept saying the book was replaced by Penguin but it never was. They eventually refunded my money but it took a couple of weeks. They are still showing those as available in epub, so I don't know if they ever got it fixed or just never changed the listing. I have bought some other Penguin epub books there with no problem.

I've bought quite a few ePub books from Fictionwise and so far haven't had any problems. They were all available for download.

As an author, I haven't been paid by Fictionwise in about three years. After literally 30 emails, they finally wrote back and I found out they had the wrong address. Two months later, still waiting for followup. They also continued selling my book after the contract period had expired. Don't know if I'll ever get my money but, well, never again...good luck.
