Problem with title meta data
If you use the Sony eReader Library software, do you notice that the interface does not use the filename anywhere, just title, author, size, etc.
I have a bunch of PDF docs that all have the same title! So, when I upload one, it overwrites the other, I guess b/c it thinks the files are the same. I just tried Calibre, and it does the same thing. I guess I have to figure out how manually change titles of each PDF doc (not an easy thing). Is there an easier way to deal with this problem? |

In Calibre: Did you try to change the title with the function 'edit metadata' to change the title? This should take care of your problem.
