Boy am I glad I did not purchase a nook. I entered the B&N site two days ago and and set up an account but did not purchase anything. Next day I looked at my visa account and there was a $1.00 charge from B&N. Go figure.

What a relief that I have a Sony e-reader!!

It was probably some kind of authorization test. If it doesn't go away in a few days, file a complaint. I think I've heard on here before that they do that, but I'm not sure why.
