Thumb Problem

Yesterday afternoon I really gave my reader some work, more pages were turned because I was reading an Adobe Reader book, which had me switching to Large to see. In the evening sat watching tv I suddenly realised my right thumb was giving me some gip and then it dawned on me why. Think I will have to start using a finger to start turning!

I wonder if anyone has had the same problem?

Yes - I wish you could turn pages on the touchscreen using the method that kindle for iPhone and stanza on the iPhone use which is just a simple tap rather than having to swipe. It's quicker, easier and less movement for the poor old thumb!

Perhaps swiping with the stylus is something you should try.

For those concerned about the swiping method, you don't need to do a full swipe from one side of the screen to the other. A very small movement covering about 1/4" to 1/2" (5mm to 10mm) is all that is needed to turn the page. When using a finger I find using more of the nail helps with touchscreen recognition.

I do the partial swipe and otherwise I would have a huge gripe about it. But I agree with wanting the option of an iPhone Stanza-like page turn. Love the tap!
