I need to get a laptop on very short notice. If anyone knows of a good deal that I can order tomorrow, please let me know. Cheaper is better.

Can you go to Best Buy or Costco and pick out a system that will meet your needs?

If not, can you provide more criteria like price limit and OS. Do you need to deal with a lot graphics and video or do you just need something to surf the net with and a little word processing?

I saw a Toshiba on sale at Office Depot for about $350 with 3 GB 15" screen single core processor windows 7..

My mother needs a laptop for a few weeks. She can't use the computers at work until she gets her security clearance. (If I explained the details behind this, your head would hurt.) The OS would need to be Windows (so I don't have to provide Linux tech support). Email and web browsing is all it has to do. I'm looking at this one as my current top choice:

Yeah, if a netbook will work, that's gonna be the best price for sure. I have the smaller screen version of that one and it's great.

There is a $99 Dell 10 inch netbook but it come with a 2 year AT&T wireless contract (runs XP).

There is another Dell mini 10 inch netbook for $279 with 48 hour delivery (runs XP).

TigerDrirect 10 inch Lenovo netbook for $249.99 (runs XP).

For the buck, you usually get a pretty good bang out of Acers. When helping my sister pick a few months ago, I came down to a pretty similar one. The one you linked is closer to my personal preferences, if she wants a bigger one they have a decent deal on newegg here.
