How Remove Author as Category

I recently saw instructions on how to use Preferences and, I think, the Plug Ins option, so that a Category would automatically be created for Author Name. I made this change - and now wish I hadn't - but can't see how to get things back to how they were. Does anyone know?

Just go back to preferences -> plugins -> device interface plugins -> sony device interface

and delete author from the list
