Device: HANLIN V3
OI hangs solid (Hanlin v3)

After staying up and happy for several days, my (daily) release of OI-live failed.

It had been ssh'd into about 7 or 8 times to transfer files, and rebooted about 5 or 6 times, over the course of a week or so. I had read one book of about 190 pages, at a leisurely pace over a couple of days. I closed that book and was starting another, and noticed response time seemed a little slow.

At about page 5 or 6 of the new book, the v3 stopped responding. The red (not orange but true red) LED started blinking steadily, which I have not seen before. No key interaction would change this state. Stupidly I popped the SD card out to see if that would force an OS-level error and a reboot. No effect. Finally I found a paper clip and did the hardware reset.

The device booted Tirwal immediately with no problems.

When I tried to boot OI-live, it got as far as setting the decade in the time/date setup screen (the "1" in 2010) and froze. I reset again. This time it got through the year and hung while setting the month. I think my silly move with the SD card has corrupted my copy of the kernel so will go back and get a fresh daily.

Tirwal is running fine and I can read the same ebook (the one I had just started) using Tirwal. I took a look through the Hanlin v3 manual and found no reference to blinking red LED, so am not sure what it means. Blinking orange means the battery is charging, little green blinks mean (I think) solid-state disk access, but what is blinking red? Any ideas?
