Quite surprised to see that the 900 is not made in China! My one and only digital camcorder/camera purchased in 2001 is a Sony made in Japan. Perhaps I should have passed on the SquareTrade extended warranty.

I had to order mine from the US! You can't find them here! Amazon won't even ship them here. (They sell from SonyUSA) I had to order from B&H Camera, who sell from SonyCanada.
