e-Readers IRC Channel

I've just created a IRC channel to talk about e-readers, e-books and get instantly support for issues or help on installing things, also is a good place to talk freely about things as book recommendations and general discussing. I'm also developing a a Bot to announce when a we have a new e-book release here in the forum.

Can we have a cannel name that reflects what the channel is about and not eReader? eReader is a term I highly dislike when it's incorrectly used like it is here.

Yes... there are 6 people in it right now (counting your's truly). Kovid is usually there all the time. Not sure if he is actively watching it all the time though.

Just like any IRC channel.

Just put in mobileread as the channel you want to join.

Sheesh, trying to get the information on the IRC channel is like pulling teeth!

I tried to look up the information and the only mention I found was a non-sticky thread (not even the first post!) from 2008:

There should be more than one OP so chances are, there is someone there to run things at all or most times.
