Upgraded to latest version, Kindle no longer shows up
Hi,

So I have recently purchased a Kindle, and it showed up/function perfectly in Calibre.

Then, this morning, I upgraded to the latest version (previously I think I was on 6.1.x) and the device no longer show up within Calibre.

Any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.

go to preferences->advanced and clickin debug device detection and post the output

Go to preferences->plugins->device interface plugins and make sure the plugin for the kindle 2 is enabled.

Oh, that did it. Thanks so much.

Just one more quick question. I have a pdf that I select to Send to Device. I get a prompt asking if I want to auto convert. If I select no (as I want to retain the pdf formatting) the file is never transferred.

Is this an bug? Or are my preferences not set correctly somehow?

make sure pdf is ticked in the customization for the kindle driver plugin
