Geesh, those guys don't even try to hide their bias. I'm personally very excited by Pixel Qi, but eInk still has some obvious advantages. It's thinner, presumably lighter (certainly the plastic ones will be), and is bistable.

Sorry, I just had make that short rant.

I believe by the time PixelQi becomes "perfect" color e-ink or Mirasol or similar will become so good that we don't need a switchable screen.

I dunno about that. A purely reflective screen technology like Mirasol obviously doesn't work without an external light source. While a purely emissive/transmissive display will always have to compete will other light sources and consume power actively.
