deleting news

Is there a way to set how long before downloaded news are deleted for each feed separately ? I would like to delete newspapers every couple days or so but I'd like to keep weekly/monthly magazines for a longer period of time.

Also how does Calibre know what to delete with the auto delete option turned on ? Is it just everything with the tag "news" or is there a more sophisticated process in place ?

No, there isn't. IIRC it uses the news tag, but i could be wrong
