Help with save to disk format
I like to have the Series name and Series Index first with a dash before the Title so I use:
{tags}/{series} {series_index} - {title} - {authors} This works for ebooks with a series but I get just a beginning dash for ebooks not in a series. Is there a way to make the dash conditional on if there is a Series value? Alternatively is there a way to not have the Title at all if there is a Series and Series Index, but to use Title if there is no Series information? Thanks for any help with this. |

I second that.
![]() What I would like is an option to set what to do if a Nil value is encountered (by field...any field). The current policy is only: blank Series: {series}, "00NoSeries" (string) Series_Id: x suppress trailing separator if series is blank, (alternate string) ... |

Open a ticket to request the feature, but it's unlikely to get implemented as I have no interest in it.

Ok, I found a workaround. I don't care about the publisher field, so for books in a series I set publisher to "-". The other ebooks not in a series have publisher set to a single space (I didn't know how to bulk remove the publisher). So now I have:
{tags}/{series} {series_index} {publisher} {title} - {authors} Works just like I want. |
