Plugin for external converters
Hi all:
I'm dealing with Calibre, but my lack of python knowledge blocks me . I want to write a plugin to launch an external script/program to convert files, msword specifically. I use Linux, and I used to run "antiword" to convert .doc files. So, this is the idea, using external tools to convert, but from Calibre with a plugin.Someone can help me? Thanks. |

The user manual has pretty detailed instruction on creating calibre plugins.

Thanks Kovid. I've read the manual but it's too much complex for me. I know perl, but no python. It's not very important anyway, because I can procces the .doc files in batch and then adding them to Calibre, but I guessed other Calibre users had solved the problem.
Thanks. |
