Sony PRS-505 Charger recommendation

Hi there,

I need to buy a replacement AC charger and I've read that you can use a Sony PSP charger for the PRS-505. Is this true?

If it is, I found one on ebay that sells for under $4.00! I'm wondering if this will work or not.

Any PSP charger will work with the Sony, but if buying one from eBay, please do ensure that it has the appropriate safety certification (eg the "CE" safety stamp, if you're in the EU). There are a lot of completely uncertified chargers offered for sale on eBay, which can be a safety hazard.

I bought one just like that last year on eBay and it works fine. The eBay photo indicates it has the "CE" seal, so you should be good to go.

I live in the US and although the price looks good I do want to get a good quality charger.

Is there any good recommendations out there?
