Willibald Alexis (eigentlich Georg Wilhelm Heinrich Häring; * 29. Juni 1798 in Breslau; † 16. Dezember 1871 in Arnstadt) war ein deutscher Schriftsteller, der als Begründer des realistischen historischen Romans in der deutschen Literatur gilt.
