are you sure about the price? 1200 Dollor sounds steep, especially if you consider the market it's being sold to...things in china are usually a lot cheaper than in europe...

I'm a little bit curious about this "eShop". It looks more like a auction (eBay) site.
On the bottom of the page is also a end date 2006.06.06. Maybe this explains the high prize.

Same price reported in ebay China site too. Very dissappointing.

So it's more expensive and lower specced device?

On the other hand... They are now selling screen protectors on ebay for the Irex Iliad...

Yes,iLiad has been sold in may on chinese marketing, and price of RMB9600 (1200USD) is true. But most of buyer are still waiting for Hanlin in China, Because Hanlin is a professional eReader manufacture company,and the price is largely lower than iLiad, and provide contents service.
