Pocke Pro Delivery Time

Hi! Greetings from Indonesia!

I've been an avid follower of mobileread for some time, and early this month I took the plunge and purchased Astak EZReader Pro to replace my N810 as ebook reader. This is my first e-ink reader.

Now, being in Indonesia with unreliable post office service, I used a buying agent service to arrange and deliver my purchase. The total cost is 10 dollar more expensive than direct purchase, but as it is more reliable, I took it as worth the price.

However, I noticed that it's been 10 days since their order status, and the Pocket Pro has not arrived in their US Address. My question is: What is the normal delivery time for Pocket Pro? Is there any way for me to track the delivery?

On the other hand, maybe it's just me being anxious and impatient.

Waiting eagerly for the Pocket Pro,
Cheers,

Depending on where they are located in the USA, 10 (BUSINESS) days could be considered a bit excessive to reach a US based freight forwarding service.
The continental USA is divided up into "Shipping Zones", with the zone count from origin being the number of business days (Saturday and Sunday are Weekends) to delivery point. BTW The US Postal service only tracks Pick-up and Delivery for "General mail"., unlike FedEx and UPS.

Who gets the Astak order confirmation? You or your service? That is where I found my tracking information.

For my international order, one email to Astak got me a tracking number, then I knew EXACTLY where it was.

Ahhhh.... Thank you for the information regarding shipping zones...
Since the destination is North Carolina, it should take 8 business days to reach the destination then. When I wrote earlier, I also counted Saturday and Sunday. It means that the Pocket Pro will arrive any time now....

Thanks a lot!

One thing that needs to be keep in mind during this time of year.. weather.

I would give a couple days extra for bad weather. Snow/Ice, wrecks, and other weather-related obstacles.

Not to mention the pirate ships that troll up and down the Mississippi River!!

Dear All:

Please be aware that Griffonwing is our resident pirate. The pirate ships he refers to are old World War 2 PT boats that he rebuilt and improved. James Bond has a license to kill and our Griffy has a license to steal. Led by his faithful captain (his parrot), he presents quite a sight.

Grif's absence on MobileRead Forum was due to a refitting of his guns.
