Adding new format to a book doesn't work

I have tried to add a new format to a book in the database using the button in the Metadata GUI and it didn't work.
The error message was:

TypeError: error_dialog() takes at least 3 non-keyword arguments (2 given)

Is it a bug or (more probably) I'm doing anything wrong?

That particular error message is a bug, the actual error message should be that you dont have read permission on the file you are trying to add.
